A&G Koutsofta Bros, in partnership with SAS High Technology, designed and manufactured a fully customized commercial vehicle body on a 3.5-tonne GVW Renault Master chassis. The project combined multiple engineered systems into a single compact platform: a custom-fabricated light-weight flatbed with drop-side rails, a bilateral hydraulic side-tipping system enabling tipping on either the left or right side, an on-board weighing system providing real-time load readings in the cabin, and a PALFINGER MBB V500 LQ tail lift for safe, code-compliant loading and unloading. The tipping mechanism is protected by an in-house developed safety system that verifies correct pin engagement before permitting operation, preventing tipping unless the body is properly secured. The result is a compact, multi-functional vehicle delivering tipping, weighing, and loading capability typically associated with much larger trucks.
